On choosing Everquest character names

Me: So, what should I name my new guy?
Dad: I don't know. He's a shadowknight, so think of something evil.
Me: ....uhhhh.........
Dad: How about Deathbringer?
Me: That's silly. Who would name their child that?
Me: I NAME THIS BOY DEATHBRINGER!
Dad: That doesn't have to be his actual name. It could be his..... pen name.
Me: Pen name? Really?
Dad: Yep.
Me: ......Ah, I'm just gonna name him Richard.
*types in the name*

Me: Crap. *Insert 4 minute pause of being unable to think of a good name.*
Me: Okay, I'll try Deathclaw, seeing as it's a really hard-to-kill thing in Fallout.
*Types it in*
<The name Deathclaw is not available.>
Me: ...really?
*Dad proceeds to open one of his books and picks a name from it.*
Me: Yeah, let's just go with that.
